ABOVE Kindergartners-grade 3 book arts students explore the main character of Anne's children's book series, Mira, by embodying her essence to empathize with her: She thinks best while moving! As intern Malone Mischke of St. Paul gives motion prompts from the book, children act them out and improvise, expanding the character of Mira as they gallop, shriek, twirl and pirouette.

Manifesto

MINNESOTA CHILDREN'S PRESS

BELIEF |  Minds Over Mouths. We believe children can raise funds selling products they create with their minds, imaginations and hands; that books rule over the typical children's fundraising inventory of cookies, popcorn and candy.

RESOLVE | Create. Achieve. Connect.  MinnChild resolves to protect and develop children's creativity and intellectual ambition and showcase these inborn gifts through books they create and publish.
The  publications that your children produce could be your group's next  fundraiser!

Questions? Please call, email, or write a paper letter. We have hardly any social media; it's bad for your imagination and sense of self. Instagram is as far as we go, due to our training in visual rhetoric.

Instead, join our Pencil & Punctuation Club and learn how to make writing implements and use semicolons!
